Gandia railway station, Spain, circa 1923


Those tracks don't look broad gauge and the mention of the Norte railroad would date this to about 1923 which was after the the Norte bought the line from Alcoy to Gandia, but before it was changed from metre to broad gauge. Until this stage, rolling stock included eight steam locomotives of 2-6-2 type built in Manchester by the company Beyer & Peacock over 1890-1891.  A picture of one is here
