1957 Chrysler New Yorker 2-door hardtop

from the library

This was the cover of the 1966 edition of the Ladybird children's book on Commercial Vehicles in the long running and extensive series. It provided artwork of 48 trucks in use in the UK at the time, plus some in Europe.  The books were also translated into other languages.

a book on an NZ female mechanic of WW1

A true story; from the press release:

Gladys Sandford – mechanic, First World War ambulance driver, New Zealand’s first woman pilot and a trailblazer ahead of her time ...

Gladys loves nothing better than tinkering with car engines and driving at top speed. She also dreams of learning to fly a plane. But it’s 1914 and people, especially her mother, keep reminding her that women are not supposed to be adventurous.

When war comes, Gladys offers her services at the front as an ambulance driver. She receives an infuriating response from the War Office:
‘This will be a short war and women will not be needed. If you want to help the war effort you should stay at home and knit socks and balaclavas.’
But Gladys is not the kind of person who stays home and knits. She is determined to go to war.

Mysterious stacks of free books in NYC are connecting strangers from around the world

Shaheryar Malik has left stacks of books from his own library at popular destinations all over New York City. He doesn’t stick around to see if anyone takes one of his books, nor does he re-visit his stacks. Instead he leaves a bookmark with his email address printed on it inside each book, in the hopes that he’ll hear back from whomever decided to pick that book up.

Muslims celebrated in Belgian streets after the Brussels bombings

the carriage of the Brussels Metro train after it was Muslimized
In the days following terrorist attacks in Brussels, street celebrations broke out in several places in Belgium, the county’s vice-prime minister said.

Jan Jambon made the statement about the March 22 bombings, which killed 35 people, on Wednesday during a symposium titled “Terrorism, Israel and International Law” and organized by the Dutch anti-racism and pro-Israel lobby group CIDI, or the Center of Information and Documentation on Israel, in The Hague.

It should provide the opportunity for valuable intelligence for authorities on who the country's worst internal enemies are -- if the authorities bothered to record these people.  Most of them will be on welfare benefits.

Muslim migrants in Sweden barbecue cars for 2 days and nights in a row

In the southern area of Stockholm called Alby. Swedish law forbids police to record the ethnicity and origin of perpetrators lest it offends the political correctness brigade. But these are Muslim neighborhoods.

According to RT.com, on Thursday night, police were patrolling the suburb, which is home to large Syrian and Armenian diasporas, as well as more recent Iraqi migrants, when a rock flew through the back window of their parked car.

As officers searched for the culprits, the rioters set fire to tires on a public bridge, and poured gasoline over several cars, before lighting them up. When fire crews arrived they were also showered with projectiles.

a troublemaker gets dealt with on an L.A. Expo line train by a man dubbed 'Viking Guy'

Although this troublemaker wasn't a Muslim, we think it is a good demonstration of how unarmed combat can be used against the Muslim migrants on German and Swedish trains, trams and buses. The 'V' was directly into the Adam's Apple and each part of the arm was directly over the arteries left and right. This takes out a molester/rapist within 10 seconds every time.

a German regional railway introduces gender segregated carriages because of Muslim migrant sex attacks

A central German regional railway is launching a special women and children only area for their trains, a move which has triggered controversy.

The announcement from the Mitteldeutsche Regiobahn came earlier this week, with the network stating the new compartment on their Leipzig to Chemnitz run would admit women and young children only.

To ensure maximum peace for those choosing to travel in that compartment, not only would it be sandwiched between the service’s two quiet cars, but it would also be next to the on-board office of the “customer service representative, traditionally known as a train guard or ticket inspector. The company said “the local proximity to the customer service representative is chosen deliberately”.

Yet despite the recent mass sex-attacks in Germany, and the official advice to young women that the best thing to do is to keep groping migrant men “at arms length” to prevent rape, the railway denies the segregated trains has anything to do with sexual harassment.

Well, if the railway stated the obvious, it would be the target of the Muslim-loving Mama Merkel's Gedankenpolizei (thought police).

Palmyra is recaptured from ISIS by the Syrian army with help from the Russians

But what is left of the ancient ruins?  The Muslim terrorist occupiers posted videos of themselves blowing some of them up -- in at least one instance the Muslims executed three people by tying them each to a historic column and then blowing them up. They also beheaded the 82-year-old curator last August.
