new book on British mail trains

Not just trains which had 'mail' in their title, but a general history on the movement of mail by rail.  In NZ the Travelling Post Office, as it was termed, was given Steven Joyce style treatment in 1971, but this didn't happen in the 'mother country' until 2004; and there is still the movement of mail containers by rail there via the German owned DB Schenker business.

This is another in the Shire album series, which means an A5 portrait format and reduced-size fonts and pics, although the price is also small and it is quite a nice publication - just have the magnifying glass ready.  64 pages with color and monochrome throughout, softcovered.
