Swiss Re 4/4 I locos

A total of 50 of these Bo-Bo type electrics were built in the immediate post-WW2 years between 1946-1951.  They had a power output of 1,850 kW and a top speed of 125 km/h.  All were withdrawn from SBB/CFF by 1997.   They were produced in 2 series: the first consisted of 26 units and the second of 24: the second series is identifiable from the different fronts.
