We showed a view of the Simla Crescent Station at Khandallah, Wellington, with a previous post, so here is a photo of one of the NZR Garratt locomotives in exactly the same spot in 1929. The stop was created for the new electric multiple unit trains in 1938 and didn't exist at the time of the above photo.
